Champagne sabre Massena

The Massena saber has a 22 carat golden handle with a cherry red wooden handle. After use, the saber can be stored in the elegant wooden block (sold together with the saber).

Founded in 1902, the French brand Claude Dozorme has a long tradition in the production of sabers for champagne.

 When you uncork a bottle of champagne, the cork should not fly off while banging. But there is the exception, spectacular, that descends from the generals of Napoleon to use the saber to blow the champagne cork.

Twenty years ago in France the Confrérie du Saber d'Or was even created, a brotherhood that has over thirty thousand associates in the world who present themselves wrapped in cloaks as if they were musketeers and who delight in uncorking champagne with a saber.
